About the book
Perhaps you have recently experienced the loss of a friend or loved one. I'm sorry. My own experiences of grief have been times of shock, deep sorrow, sleeplessness, anger, and numbness.
Did you know that Jesus experienced grief as well? One of the Old Testament prophets named Isaiah described Jesus as "a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief." We also get a glimpse into the sorrows of Jesus in the shortest verse in the Bible, written when Jesus' good friend Lazarus died. It says, "Jesus wept."
Find biblically informed comfort as you read this mini-book, in which Ernie Baker considers the wonderful person of Jesus and how He is able to bring peace and harmony into the lives of ordinary people when they turn away from sin, trust Him to forgive them, and begin the lifelong journey of following Him.
